ZIMAXX 2000 for Natural Male Enhancement
April 8, 2009
ZIMAXX 2000 Review Summary
------------------------------------------------------

ZIMAXX 2000 is advertised as being a “natural alternative to Prescription Viagra”, which is actually a fairly common claim these days, considering that Viagra® has become synonymous with harder, longer lasting erections. However, it may also have many side effects that men wish to avoid. This may make products, such as ZIMAXX, unattractive. It is also claimed to work in as little as 45 minutes. ZIMAXX and other holistic supplements are also much cheaper that pharmaceutical-grade medications, which may really put a dent in a person’s wallet.

However, we believe a holistic product is only as viable as the elements and extracts that are used in its formulary. ZIMAXX uses a variety of herbal extracts and Amino Acids to try to enhance pleasure, power, potency and strength in men. Let’s take a look at this formula to see if it may really “out-perform any other products on the market”, as its developer suggests.

Ingredients at a Glance
------------------------------------------------------

ZIMAXX 2000 contains some of these elements: Tyrsone Gyo Guram, Lycium Fruit, Proline, Epimedium, Glutamin Acid, Cistanche and Phenylalanine. When we first looked at this formula, we were pleased to see that it contained Epimedium, which is one of the more effective herbal sexuality enhancers on the market. It has a history of success, which has been borne out by scientific research. However, we are unclear about how this formula may perform as promised, given the seemingly low-level abilities of the other elements in this formula. Yet, as we intensified our research on ZIMAXX, it became clear how it may produce the promised results; although we find these results are highly disturbing.

Ingredients in Focus
------------------------------------------------------

During the course of our research, ZIMAXX was removed from the market by the FDA, because it is among a number of holistic supplements which have been found to “contain undeclared chemicals identical or similar to the ones found in FDA-approved prescription drugs”. ZIMAXX was found to contain Sildenafil, which is the active ingredient found in Viagra®, a drug used in addressing Erectile dysfunction. We feel this is very dangerous, because this medication may have many side effects and contraindications for some individuals.

For instance, it is said individuals who are taking, or have recently taken nitrates should not take this medication. Also, there reported to be numerous possible side effects, such as headache, heartburn, diarrhea, flushing (feeling of warmth), nosebleeds, difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, numbness, burning or tingling in the arms, hands, feet or legs, muscle aches and changes in color vision.

Also, some other, more severe side effects may include: sudden severe loss of vision, sudden decrease or loss of hearing, ringing in ears dizziness or lightheadedness, fainting, chest pain, shortness of breath, itching or burning during urination and rash. It is said some men experience erections that are painful and last longer than 4 hours, which often requires treatment by a health care provider.

Sexual Lifestyle
------------------------------------------------------

After reviewing the potential side effects associated with pharmaceutical-grade medications, it is easy to see why many men often turn to holistic supplements to get their sexuality back on track. This product contains elements such as Tyrsone Gyo Guram, Lycium Fruit, Proline, Epimadium, Glutamin Acid, Cistanche and Phenylalanine, which are claimed to increase erectile function, sexual drive and libido. We find that the formulary, without its use of pharmaceutical-grade medications, is rather low key. It contains Proline, an amino acid that is synthesized naturally in the body by glutamic acid, which is synthesized within the body, so supplementation unnecessary. This is also the case with Glutamin Acid and Phenylalanine.

Positives
------------------------------------------------------

•Discontinued

Negatives
------------------------------------------------------

•Contained a pharmaceutical-grade medication
•May have many serious and dangerous side effects for some individuals

Final Thoughts
------------------------------------------------------

ZIMAXX was removed from the market due to its Sildenafil content. We know that some individuals may have felt that this could boost their erectile function, but the truth is, it is said these kinds of medications need to be monitored by a health care provider, due to their potentially numerous and severe side effects. Also, we think it is reprehensible when developers include medications in holistic products, because people buy these products expecting that they are “natural” and free of dangerous side effects.

That said, we hope that this will not dissuade men from using holistic products, because we find this instance is not representative of the industry as a whole. There are some really effective sexuality enhancers available. We suggest looking for developers who have a time-tested reputation for providing quality holistic products and providing excellent customer care.
