| Viraloid for Natural Male Enhancement July 18, 2009 | |
| Viraloid Review Summary ------------------------------------------------------ Viraloid is a testosterone boosting enhancement product developed and launched by Vyo-Tech Nutritionals. This manufacturer has an extensive product line of strength training and muscle building supplements. Viraloid is promoted as a product which can “raise natural testosterone”. Testosterone boosting products have been flooding the market because boosting testosterone is believed to have a profound affect on virility in men. These products, for the most part, usually utilize similar ingredients and holistic technology. Nevertheless, we will thoroughly investigate this product to see if it can bring anything new to the male sexual enhancement market. Ingredients At A Glance ------------------------------------------------------ Viraloid’s main ingredient is its proprietary blend called Viraloid, which is made up of Wild Yam and Tribulus, as well as some undisclosed ingredients. Ingredients In Focus ------------------------------------------------------ Viraloid’s manufacturer fails to disclose its full formulary, which we found to be troubling. In general, we believe that consumers have a basic right to know what is in these types of products. In no ways should the mystery around this products formula, be seen as a sign of its feasibility as sexuality booster. However, Viraloid does disclose that it contains Wild Yam and Tribulus Terrestris. Wild Yam has been used extensively in Folk medicine to treat colic, rheumatic conditions, nausea, dysmenorrheal and menstrual cramps. It is also prescribed in alternative medicine to treat symptoms of menopause. Viraloids website talks a lot about how Wild Yam’s chemical make up is “identical to human testosterone”, which they then believe creates a testosterone boost. In our estimation there is no human based research available which supports this theory. Also, we question its inclusion, since Wild Yam has been used almost exclusively to treat women’s problems, such as menstruation and menopause. Although, some manufactures of strength training formulas believe that it aids in muscle mass building. We could find no research to support this supposition. However, we were glad to see that this formula uses Tribulus Terrestris, which is extracted from the Punture Vine. This herbal extract has been proven to be able to boost testosterone production in the men who use it; thereby increasing virility, stamina and performance in some cases. In general, this formula is very mild in terms of using ingredients which specifically target male sexual function. We would have liked to have seen this formula use more male sexual fitness agents such as Catuaba Bark Extract and Yohimbe Extract, two proven male fitness herbs. Yohimbe Extract is an herb from Africa, which has been shown to magnify blood flow in the penis, thereby enhancing erections in terms of hardness and quality. Catuaba Extract is a modern aphrodisiac, which has been used for generations in Brazil to increase virility, stamina and increased sexual performance. Regrettably, we do not know if they are in this formula. Lifestyle ------------------------------------------------------ Male sexual dysfunction has many symptoms such as erectile problems, reduced libido, lowered stamina and overall performance problems. These issues can strike at any age, but become more prevalent as men age; testosterone levels tend to decrease after they peak, usually after the age of 40. Lowered testosterone levels have been linked to male sexual dysfunction in some research studies. When this is the reason behind sexual dysfunction, holistic supplements which address this issue through many avenues using a combination approach have been very successful in helping to restore sexual health. Sometimes the reasons have nothing to do with age or testosterone levels, but have psychological or medical factors. Regardless of the reasons behind male sexual dysfunction when it hits it can be life altering and can cause other issues, such as depression. As mentioned earlier, we believe holistic supplementation has been shown to be of help to some men experiencing these problems Positives ------------------------------------------------------ •Uses Tribulus Terrestris •Discreet shipping Negatives ------------------------------------------------------ •Does not use Catuaba Bark Extract and Yohimbe Extract •Contains Wild Yam used extensively to treat women’s problems such as menstruation and menopause • Their customers do not like them at all and have negative things to say about their experiences. Click here to read a popular Viraloid Blog. •Mild formula Final Thoughts ------------------------------------------------------ In our estimation, Viraloid is a very mild formula in terms of ingredients used in this product. The manufacturer does not totally disclose its formulary, which we found to be problematic. As mentioned earlier, we also believe it deprives consumers of the basic right to know what is in these types of products. The two disclosed ingredients in Viraloid are Tribulus Terrestris and Wild Yam. Tribulus Terrestris is a viable testosterone booster. However, Wild Yam is more suited for a womens formula because it has been widly used by women to control problems associated with menstruation and menopause. Although, some believe it is useful in building muscle mass. In some ways we believe that this product may be best suited for men who are looking for a strength training supplement. Viraloid does not use an intense multifaceted approach to male sexuality boosting. We would have liked to have seen a more complete grouping of herbs used to help men regain their sexual health such as Catuaba Bark Extract and Yohimbe Extract. Original Article Reference: | |
