| Vialafil® for Natural Male Enhancement September 23, 2010 | |
| Vialafil Review Summary ------------------------------------------------------ Vialafil is advertised as being the “strongest, non synthetic, Viagra alternative on the market”. It is purported to be able to “promote healthy erectile function”. There are many products available on the market, which are seeking to fill a holistic niche for products that can perform like Viagra, but which are based on holistic principles. This can be a very tricky procedure in terms of using the right ingredients to create the appropriate chemical reactions; many products claim to be able to accomplish this feat, only to produce the most nominal results; while others can indeed fulfill their claims. We will thoroughly review this formula to see if the claims made about this formula are fact or fiction. Ingredients at a Glance ------------------------------------------------------ Vialafil contains: L-arginine, Yohimbe, Muira Pauma, Maca, Ginko Biloba, Catuaba Bark, Zinc, Avena Sativa, Epimedium, Ginseng, Cnidium Monnier and Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa. Ingredients in Focus ------------------------------------------------------ Vialafil utilizes five effective male sexual fitness agents - Yohimbe, Muira Pauma, Catuaba Bark, Epimedium and Ginseng; each has its own unique and effective way of boosting and renewing male sexual function. Muira Pauma, Catuaba Bark, Epimedium and Ginseng are all geared toward helping men address issues which are not directly related to erectile functioning per se. Epimedium can increase libido and potency; Muira Pauma is also known as potency wood, and is best known for its ability to relieve sexual fatigue-effectively; Catuaba Bark has been shown to be an extremely effective aphrodisiac which can drastically boost sexual desire; and Ginseng has been shown to be able to rebuild nerves, increase blood flow and to drastically increase sex drive in users. The inclusion of these herbs pretty much assures users that they will experience a significantly enhanced sex drive and libido when using this formula. However, since it is advertised as having some fairly extreme abilities in terms of improving erections and orgasms we should look at some of the other ingredients in this formula. For instance, Yohimbe is the most effective erection enhancing mechanism used in this formula. It has been shown to be able to significantly increase the blood flow to the penis and the level of cGMP in the penis, both of these mechanisms are the ones found in most pharmaceutical grade treatments for ED; except it is natural and lacks the side effects associated with those medications. However, it is rather odd that the manufacturer of Vialafil highlights its use of Cnidium Monnier and Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa instead of the abilities of Yohimbe; although Yohimbe’s are far more effective than either of those other ingredients. This indicates to us that perhaps the amount of Yohimbe used in this formula may not be large enough to be effective. Lifestyle ------------------------------------------------------ Many men have begun seeking out holistically based supplements to help them address ED or erectile dysfunction, because they are unwilling to take on the possible side effects of pharmaceutical medications. In general, we believe that holistic supplementation can help them allay this often very frustrating and painful issue; especially when using the above mentioned Yohimbe. However, we were rather concerned to see that this formula uses Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa which has some rather concerning side affects associated with it. Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa is a lichen which is found in many countries throughout Asia. It has been used in many formulas as an aphrodisiac; however, recent studies suggest that it has some toxicity associated with it, which we found to be rather concerning. Positives ------------------------------------------------------ •Uses Yohimbe, Muira Pauma, Catuaba Bark, Epimedium and Ginseng •Informative website Negatives ------------------------------------------------------ •Contains Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa which may have some toxicity associated with it •May not use as sufficient amount of Yohimbe to be effective •Uses some ineffective ingredients such as Maca, Ginko Biloba, Zinc and Avena Sativa, which have little affect on male sexuality. Final Thoughts ------------------------------------------------------ Overall, we were rather excited at first glance because this formula uses Yohimbe, Muira Pauma, Catuaba Bark, Epimedium and Ginseng; which are all heavy weights in the male sexuality fitness arena and each is capable on their own and together of significantly increasing sexual performance. That said we did note after further review that this formula uses Maca, Ginko Biloba, Zinc and Avena Sativa, all of which have little affect on male sexuality; and may be simply being used as filler. We were also rather concerned that we were not sure how much Yohimbe is used in this formulary, because as far as we can see it is the defining ingredient in this formula; although we fear it is not used in sufficient quantity to make a real difference. We mentioned this earlier, but we feel it bears repeating - we were also troubled by this formulas use of Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa which may have some toxicity associated with it. This was not mentioned on this website, which we also found disconcerting. We believe further studies need to be conducted on this element, before we can suggest using it.
