| Prelude Review Summary ------------------------------------------------------ Prelude is advertised as an advanced male sexual enhancement formula. It is purported to be able to “enhance sexual stamina and endurance” and “increase libido”; as well as being able to “enhance rigidity & duration” of erections and to help “promote genital blood flow”. These are claims which if true would be of great value to men suffering from sexual dysfunction. Yet we have heard them all before from manufacturers of similar male enhancement products. We will review this formula to see if Prelude can actually provide these guaranteed results. Ingredients At A Glance ------------------------------------------------------ Prelude makes use of the following ingredients in its formulary: Rhodiola Rosea Extract, Furostanol Saponins, Ginkgo Biloba Extract, Icarin, L-Arginine, Maca Root Extract, Niacin, Tongkat Ali and Yohimbine. We will take a few minutes to review some of these ingredients. Ginkgo Biloba Extract is an herb; used to increase memory and is currently being tested on dementia patients. It has also been used to augment blood circulation to the brain. L-Arginine is an essential amino acid which is used comprehensively in strength training supplements due to its ability to help build muscle mass. Maca Root Extract is similar to a grain or a cereal. It has a very high nutritional content; containing proteins, minerals, iron and fatty acids. It is eaten in Peru like porrage. It is purported to have certain libido enhancing effects. Rhodiola Rosea Extract is an herb used extensively in anti-aging supplements, due to its stress relieving abilities. Ingredients In Focus ------------------------------------------------------ Prelude’s formula is an interesting mix of male sexual fitness agents and energizing herbs, which have a health tonic like affect. This formulary uses Yohimbine, Icarin and Furostanol Saponins, which are derivatives of herbs which are proven male sexuality boosting herbs. Yohimbine is a derivative of Yobimbe Extract, which has been shown to be able to boost erection quality, in terms of hardness and quantity. Furostanol Saponins is the active component of Tribulus Terestris, a known testosterone booster, which has been shown to be able to restore normal levels of testosterone. Icarin is purported to be a compound found in Epimedium, which has been used to treat male sexual fatigue. While we were happy to see these derivatives used in this formulary, because it is better than not using them at all; we would have liked to have seen the entire herb used instead. We believe that the full herb is a much better way to deliver these herbs into the body; derivatives are simply just not as good. However, we would have liked to have seen this formulary utilized a modern male aphrodisiac, in lieu, of the many filler herbs used in this product. Catuaba Bark Extract is a Brazilian aphrodisiac which has shown great results in boosting virility. Lifestyle ------------------------------------------------------ We believe holistic supplementation can be an important part of relieving various levels of male sexual dysfunction. Preludes formulary is focused on increasing erection quality in men who are experiencing erectile problems. Erectile dysfunction can be a very frustrating and depressing issue for men to deal with; often leaving them feeling as if their sex life as they knew it is over. Positives ------------------------------------------------------ •Formulary uses Yohimbine, Icarin and Furostanol Saponins Negatives ------------------------------------------------------ •Does not use whole herbs in the formula-just derivatives •No research on the website •Does not include Catuaba Bark Extract Final Thoughts ------------------------------------------------------ Prelude is a male sexual enhancement product, which is part male sexuality booster and part health tonic. As mentioned earlier, it uses Yohimbine, Icarin and Furostanol Saponins; all derivatives of herbs which are actual male sexual fitness agents. We would have preferred that this product used the entire herb and not just derivatives. Although, these derivatives may be effective; the full herb is always better in our estimation. We also believe that this formula could benefit from a contemporary male aphrodisiac, such as Catuaba Bark Extract, to boost virility. Original Article Reference: | |
