Power E Erection for Natural Male Enhancement

Power E Erection Review Summary
------------------------------------------------------

Power E is a male sexual enhancement product advertised to “help you get the most out of your erections, and truly enhance sexual pleasure.” The product is said to achieve harder, longer-lasting erections, heighten libido, and increase duration and sexual stamina. The supplement also is said to “make your penis more sensitive while at the same time allowing for ejaculation control to prolong sex.” The product’s promotional materials invite consumers to “transform your erections into a powerful lovemaking tool with Power E!”

Although this product does appear to contain some powerful sexual enhancement ingredients, it also appears to include some rather objectionable components. Surprisingly, these ingredients seem to have an estrogenic or “feminizing” effect, and may actually diminish libido. It is difficult for us to understand why such ingredients would be included, since their function seems quite the opposite of the stated goal. We will review this product for its ability to live up to its claims of providing sexual stamina and potency.

Ingredients at a Glance
------------------------------------------------------

This formulation may contain some of the following ingredients: Soybean, Boron, Sodium Pyruvate, L-Lysine, L-Arginine, L-Omithine, Glutathione, L-Tyrosine, L-Taurine, L-Glycine, L-Alanine, L-Glutamic Acid, Acetyl L-Carmitine, N-Acetylcysteine, Dimethylaminoethanolamine (DMAE), Panax Ginseng, American Ginseng, Mucuna Pruriens, Damiana, Pumpkin Seed, Horny Goat Weed, Avena Sativa, Chrysin, Pygeum Bark, Grape Seed, Nettle Root, Ginkgo Biloba, Griffonia Simplicifolia Seed, Tribulus Terrestris, Maca, Dong Quai, Saw Palmetto and Licorice.

Ingredients in Focus
------------------------------------------------------

We are continually shocked and puzzled by the use of ingredients such as Soy and L-Arginine in supplements designed to boost male sexual prowess. These ingredients, which seem to be ubiquitous in such supplements, reportedly both have mechanisms that may serve to diminish male performance. L-Arginine reportedly stimulates production of prolactin, a hormone released in post-partum women and after male orgasm.

This is the hormone that reportedly makes men drowsy after sex, and is said to greatly diminish sexual drive. In fact, one researcher has dubbed Prolactin “the number one libido killer.” Soy products are also said to have some disturbing effects on men due to their estrogenic activity. This estrogen may upset male hormonal balance, and is said to lead to “feminizing” effects such as penis shrinkage and development of breasts. We hardly see this as a benefit to men. Finally, the ingredient Mucuna Pruriens reportedly contains Levodopa, which may yield such adverse effects as hair loss and “confusion.”

Sexual Health
------------------------------------------------------

We would note that the addition of estrogens to the body through supplementation may also have undesirable effects for women. Currently, many consumers unknowingly ingest environmental estrogens or “eco estrogens” through hormones in meats, pesticides and other sources. Too much estrogen may present some serious problems for women, including breast cancer and sterility. We would urge consumers to be aware of the potentially aggravating effect this hormone might have on their bodies.

Positives
------------------------------------------------------

• Contains Panax Ginseng
• Contains Tribulus Terrestris

Negatives
------------------------------------------------------

• L-Arginine may trigger Prolactin, which may diminish sexual desire
• Soy contains phytoestrogens, and may have “feminizing” effect
• Dissatisfied consumers have begun speaking out about the poor results this product has produced. To hear about their negative experiences, you can click here to read a number of posts in this Power E blog.

• L-Arginine may increase incidence of Herpes Simplex outbreaks for some

Final Thoughts
------------------------------------------------------

In the end, we do not feel that this product’s benefits justify its unnecessary use of unsuitable components. We believe that augmenting an existing environmental problem is likely to yield unsatisfactory results for both men and women.

The ingredients Panax Ginseng and Tribulus Terrestris can also be found in supplements that do not use phytoestrogens. We particularly like formulations that also contain Epimedium, Damiana, and Yohimbe for ensured results.
