Passion8™ ErosStik for Natural Male Enhancement
August 19, 2010
Passion8™ ErosStik Review Summary
------------------------------------------------------

Passion8™ ErosStik is a sexual enhancement product that is designed to “increase arousal and libidinous feelings in men.” The product, which utilizes the somewhat unusual delivery of “sniffing” for a few seconds, is said to utilize “natural aromas will work to increase sensation.” This “masculine fragrance” apparently increases libido and sex drive, and bills itself as “the aphrodisiac of tomorrow.”

Although sexual desire is admittedly a very individual and mysterious phenomenon, we are puzzled as to why a “masculine fragrance” would be a turn-on to a heterosexual male. We also question the effectiveness of this product’s “sniff” delivery method, which does not seem to be supported by scientific evidence. In addition, we do not feel that the ingredients contained in this formulation are sufficiently powerful to produce the desired result, even if they were to be presented in capsule form. We will evaluate this product for its seemingly unorthodox approach to male desire.

Ingredients at a Glance
------------------------------------------------------

This formulation may contain the following ingredients: Sandalwood, Black Pepper Oil, Patchouli and Ylang-Ylang.

Ingredients in Focus
------------------------------------------------------

It seems to us that this product mostly contains ingredients designed for fragrance or “aromatherapy,” with no real mechanism addressing sexual desire or vigor. The ingredient, Black Pepper Oil, which is also used as a pesticide, is said to have “aromatherapy” aphrodisiac effects. It also is said to alleviate “emotional coldness,” and also act as a laxative, diuretic and “nerve tonic.” We question whether one component could truly achieve all of these effects. Likewise, Ylang Ylang is a popular aromatherapy component, and is also used to make jewelry. The ingredient, Patchouli, which enjoyed increased popularity among those living the “hippie” lifestyle, does not appear to have any true effect on libido or sex drive.

We would add that this fragrance, which is quite pungent, may not appeal to everyone. We additionally question why this smell would be expected to yield sexual desire in men, unless they had a “hippie fetish” of some kind. We would have preferred to see proven sexual enhancement ingredients, such as Yohimbe or Epimedium.

Website
------------------------------------------------------

We feel that this product’s Website is rather lacking in detail, particularly regarding the “sniff” delivery mechanism. We believe that in the case of an unusual delivery method, it is the manufacturer’s burden to explain and clarify how this method works. This product’s Website touches only briefly on this approach, and does not fully explain how the components are absorbed. Based on what we have read of the ingredients, it is our belief that this is simply an “aromatherapy” product that is not necessarily incorporated in the body.

Positives
------------------------------------------------------

• Some may prefer “sniff” absorption to pills
• Claims to “increase sensation”

Negatives
------------------------------------------------------

• Uses “aromatherapy” ingredients that may not be proven sexual aids
• Website does not include testimonials at this time
• Patchouli may be an undesirable smell to some
• Does not appear to offer a money-back guarantee

Final Thoughts
------------------------------------------------------

In the end, we feel individuals would be wise to seek out time-tested sexual enhancement products that are actually absorbed into the body for effective results. While “aromatherapy” may be enjoyable or relaxing for some purposes, we doubt whether it may truly deliver the desired result in this case.

We also believe individuals have the right to try a new product with the security of a money-back guarantee. In our opinion, this type of guarantee protects the customer, and is also an encouraging sign of the manufacturer’s confidence in its product.
