| MoodMax for Natural Male Enhancement September 15, 2010 | |
| MoodMax Review Summary ------------------------------------------------------ MoodMax is a sexual enhancement product that is said to be “for men and women who are interested in improving their sexual health and maximizing sexual pleasure.” The product claims to stimulate erection, “stop hair loss due to sexual exhaustion,” and enhance circulation of blood to the sex organs. The product further boasts of its ability to “heighten mental clarity” and “balance sexual hormones.” This formulation seems to include at least one ingredient that may actually have an extremely undesirable effect on male sexuality. In addition, there also appear to be ingredients that may stifle libido and arousal in both sexes. We are utterly confounded as to why such components would be included in this product. In addition, we are concerned by the fact that this company does not seem to offer a money-back guarantee on this product. We will examine the components of this formulation for their ability to enhance sexual arousal, duration and satisfaction. Ingredients at a Glance ------------------------------------------------------ This formulation may contain some of the following ingredients: Vitamins B-1,B-6, B-12, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Folic Acid, Zinc Chelated, Copper, Selenium, Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium, Beta Carotene, Soy Isoflavones, Gamma Linoleic Acid, Griffonia Seed Extract, L-Arginine, L-Glycine, L-Glutamic Acid, L-Alanine, L-Taurine, L-Methione, Acetyl L-Carnitine (ALC), N-Acetylcysteine (NAC), DiMethylAminoEthanol (DMAE), GABA and L-Tyrosine. Ingredients in Focus ------------------------------------------------------ We are very concerned by the inclusion of Soy Isoflavones in this product, since this ingredient is said to potentially cause several deleterious effects for some. Some experts have linked Soy Isoflavones to the development of such serious conditions as breast cancer and infertility. In addition, Soy, which is said to be estrogenic, may yield unfortunate “feminizing” characteristics in men, such as reduction in penis size. We feel that these effects would be highly undesirable for either gender. In addition, Soy is said to be associated with thyroid conditions such as hypothyroidism. We also consider the ingredient, L-Arginine, to be of dubious merit in this formulation. L-Arginine is said to promote the release of Prolactin, a hormone that is said to greatly diminish libido and sexual desire. This hormone is generally secreted after childbirth in women, and in men immediately after orgasm. These are both situations in which interest in sex generally dwindles down to near indifference. Sexual Health ------------------------------------------------------ We feel that although this product seems to include several beneficial vitamins and minerals, it also includes ingredients that may jeopardize sexual well-being and overall health. We are concerned with some of the implications that these ingredients may have for both men and women. Because the body’s sex hormones must usually be in careful balance, we would hesitate to embrace a supplement that may tamper with this balance. We are also quite disappointed in this formulation’s lack of proven sexual enhancement ingredients, such as Yohimbe, Epimedium, Damiana and Tribulus Terrestris. Positives ------------------------------------------------------ • Contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E • Includes Vitamin B-12 Negatives ------------------------------------------------------ • Soy Isoflavones have been linked to breast cancer • Soy may promote “feminizing” characteristics in men • L-Arginine said to trigger Prolactin, which may hinder sexual desire • Product does not offer a money-back guarantee Final Thoughts ------------------------------------------------------ In the end, we believe that this product inexplicably contains a roster of ingredients that are doomed to diminish the quality of sex, not enhance it. It strikes us as truly odd that this formulation seems to promote the opposite of its stated goal. We believe that there are currently some truly excellent herbal sexual enhancements available. We have heard especially good things about products containing the ingredients Epimedium, Yohimbe and Tribulus Terrestris. Original Article Reference: | |
