Maximum Testosterole for Natural Male Enhancement
August 12, 2009
Maximum Testosterole Review Summary
------------------------------------------------------

Maximum Testosterole is advertised as an herbal libido enhancer and, as many other products, an alternative to Viagra. The advertisement claims that it contains an exclusive combination of exotic herbal extracts and the latest in cutting-edge male hormone boosters. The formula is designed to increase testosterone levels, stamina and endurance.

The formula for Maximum Testosterole contains a number of extracts that are used in other natural male enhancement supplements, including the popular extracts Yohimbe and Epimedium, as well as others that are less common and not as effective.

Ingredients At A Glance
------------------------------------------------------

Maximum Testosterole consists of zinc, niacin and a proprietary blend of natural extracts. These extracts include Epimedium, a shrub native to China that has been shown to effectively increase sex drive, the aphrodisiac from Peru, Maca Root, Guarana for its stimulant properties, Korean Ginseng for enhanced energy, Muira Puama for increased libido and Ginkgo Biloba for improved circulation. Avena Sativa may support the heart and promote energy, Eurycoma Longifolia and Orchic powder are thought to support testosterone levels and Saw Palmetto Berry helps support the urinary tract.

The amino acid L-Arginine may help increase nitric oxide levels, allowing greater blood flow to the genital region. Yohimbe is a bark extract from Africa that aids in increasing blood flow to the penis, and has often been used for treating symptoms of impotency.

Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa is thought to provide stamina but may be toxic, Cnidium Monnieri is commonly used to treat skin conditions and may help boost the libido and Damiana has been used as an aphrodisiac in Mexico.

Ingredients In Focus
------------------------------------------------------

Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa is a lichen that is found in parts of South America, Asia and Australia. It is sometimes used in male enhancement formulas for the belief that it has aphrodisiac properties. However, no strong research exists, and it has been shown that the lichen contains toxins. The research showing its toxicity dates back to studies from 1978, and use of products containing it have been cautioned against.

Orchic Substance is extracted from the testicular tissues of young male cows, and is thought to help naturally raise testosterone levels. Although this substance is often included in male enhancement formulas and is said to be “proven,” no proof is available on its benefits, and very little information is provided on its effectiveness.

Eurycoma Longifolia has been traditionally used as an aphrodisiac and is native to Southeastern Asia. It is also thought to enhance strength and virility, and has become popular in male enhancement formulas. A study done on middle-aged rats concluded that it increased sexual function in these rodents, but no human studies have been done. Use of the herb may cause insomnia.

Lifestyle
------------------------------------------------------

Erectile dysfunction is a condition that affects men all over the world. It is believed that testosterone levels begin to deplete as young as age 25, and may decrease by 10% every decade. This loss of testosterone has been linked to symptoms of impotency in some cases, and dietary supplements that claim to help restore this male hormone to healthy levels may be a useful solution.

A wide variety of products are on the market claim to enhance sexual function, and many of them promise to be better than pharmaceuticals, because they use herbal extracts. We are all for natural herbal supplements, but as the assessment of the ingredients indicates, not all extracts are beneficial, and they still need to be consumed with caution.

Products that promise the highest quality extracts in the most synergistic blends will prove to be most effective. Because this product implies an increase of testosterone upon consumption, we are surprised that it does not contain the popular and effective herb Tribulus Terrestris. This extract, unlike Eurycoma or Orchic Substance, has been clinically shown to increase testosterone levels and is often included in male enhancement supplements for proven benefits. For men concerned with restoring testosterone levels, we suggest looking for products that contain Tribulus.

Positives
------------------------------------------------------

•Label information is provided
•Contains Yohimbe

Negatives
------------------------------------------------------

•Eurycoma Longifolia could cause insomnia
• Their customers do not like them at all and have negative things to say about their experiences. Click here to read a popular Maximum Testosterole Blog.

•Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa contains toxins
•Contains Orchic Substance
•Does not contain Tribulus Terrestris

Final Thoughts
------------------------------------------------------

Maximum Testosterole contains many extracts that are commonly used in other products for male enhancement, but it does not appear to have perfected the formula. With the inclusion of Xanthoparmelia, shown to have toxins, and Orchic Substance, an extract that has no clinical research behind it, this formula is a bit trivial.

As mentioned, we believe that herbs can be quite beneficial for maintaining sexual health, and there are numerous products available that contain combinations of herbs that have had no side effects associated with them. High quality herbs from notable manufacturers will ensure a more potent, less harmful product, and a much more valuable effect.

Products that include Tribulus in their formulas will help supply a healthy dose of testosterone and will help restore proper sexual function. We highly recommend sticking to proven herbal extracts for supporting testosterone levels. Companies who feature these proven ingredients, and are confident enough to offer a free trial, are definitely ones to seek out.
