These are very commonly made claims, which we will thoroughly investigate, in order to ascertain if they can be delivered by Liquid RX.

Liquid RX is made up of Muira Puama, Catuaba, Betel Nut, Prickly Ash and Maca. We will briefly review some of these ingredients.

Betel Nut is also called Pinang or Areca nut; many people in Asian counties chew these nuts because of their percieved healthful effects. In those countries it is used in formulas for tooth problems and to remove of tapeworms and some other intestinal parasites.

Prickly Ash is also known as Zanthoxylum and Hercules ‘club. It is a tiny North American tree. It has certain stimulant properities and has been used in folk medicine to treat typhoid, chronic rheumatism, skin diseases and to remove impurities in the blood.

As mentioned earlier, Liquid RX formulary utilizes Betel Nut, which has been traditionally used in Asian countries to promote health and to treat some ailments, such as intestinal parasites. However, we are confused about why this herb was included in this formulary, especially because it is believed to be a known human carcinogen, which international research agencies suggest may cause cancer. Research shows that people in the countries where Betel Nut is chewed have higher than normal instances of oral related cancers. We seriously doubt the wisdom of including this herb in any formula before additional research is conducted.

That said Liquid RX does use two proven male sexuality boosting herbs- Muira Puama and Catuaba. These two herbs have been used successfully to help treat various forms of male sexual dysfunction, such as loss of libido, reduction in stamina and performance related issues. However, we would have liked to have seen them include a few more herbs proven to be able to aid in renewing male sexual health. Epimedium has shown excellent results in relieving sexual fatigue in some men. It is unfortunate that it is not included in Liquid RX.

Liquid RX’s website was light on some very important information, such as why they decided to use Betel Nut in its formulary, considering it is a known human carcinogen, and it has no known effect on the male libido. We would have liked to have seen the research they may have used to support this decsion posted on the website.

There are many formulas on the market today which use holistic supplementation to help men heal from sexual dysfuction. Male sexual dysfuction can occur for a wide aray of reasons, but when it strikes it can often cause men to feel depressed and/or frustratrated. We frimly believe that natural supplmentation using an herbally based combination approach, can help some men regain sexual health.

However, we do not wish to totally disregard the entire formulary because it does use both Muira Puama and Catuaba, two comprehensive male aphrodisiacs, which have been used to boost male libido with excellent results. These two herbs have enjoyed great success in other products. Seek products that feature, Epimedium which has been used effectively in a variety of male fitness products to alleviate male sexual exhaustion.
