| Lindora Review Summary ------------------------------------------------------ Lindora is a chain of weight loss clinics primarily located in Southern California. For people who do not live in that area, that clinic also offers online and telephone programs as well. This program was founded in 1971 by Doctor Marshall Stamper, who wanted to create a supervised setting for people needing guidance and help when it came to weight loss. The newest program promoted by Lindora is called “Lean for Life,” which is said to be based on a low-carb, high-protein diet. We will take a closer look at this program and the Lindora clinic to determine if this company appears to offer dieters the necessary tools to achieve their weight loss goals. Program at a Glance ------------------------------------------------------ The company does note that dieters will receive the same type of service whether they opt for the online program, phone program or in-person program. Though, we feel that it’s quite obvious that the in-person program offers a higher quality of service, but it is also likely to be more expensive. Program in Focus ------------------------------------------------------ The Lindora Lean for Life program has several different phases. The first phase is called “prep” and is said to promote rapid weight loss. The company claims that this phase will get the body ready to lose weight and keep it off. It is the most restrictive phase, but it only lasts for a few days. The next phase lasts a month and is called the “weight loss” phase. During this phase, dieters must revert back to “prep” one day during the week. The final phase is named “Metabolic adjustment,” and it lasts for 14 days. The goal in this phase is to slowly add more foods back to the diet to help regulate metabolic rates. As mentioned, this Lindora program does follow a strict low-carb, high-protein meal plan that some have said is similar to Atkins. As many dieters are aware, the Atkins Diet is fairly controversial, and there are some that claim it is not beneficial to overall health. Though, there are others that point out that since following a low-card diet indefinitely is not reasonable, the weight loss results on such plans may be compromised. Positives ------------------------------------------------------ •Lindora company website posted online •Members are said to receive guidance from health professionals Negatives ------------------------------------------------------ •Program may be quite expensive •Physical locations of clinics are only available in Southern California • These products have garnered a lot of negative consumer commentary, which can be read on this popular Lindora blog. If you are interested in more information, you can read another Lindora review by Sensational.com. •Lean for Life requires a strict diet lifestyle •Some independent negative consumers reviews are posted online Final Thoughts ------------------------------------------------------ In the end, the Lindora clinics may appeal to dieters who live in Southern California and who can visit a location. Though, for people who are just opting for the online program, we do wonder if Lindora offers more than other online programs that are much more affordable. Currently, the 45-day cost of Lindora online appears to be around $150, which is obviously quite expensive. Realistically, the high cost of this program and the restrictive diet lifestyle will not appeal to many consumers. In that case, we suggest continuing your search for a weight loss aid or program, and we always suggest researching a product or plan before use to ensure that it fits your specific needs. There are good programs out there at reasonable prices, it’s just a matter of finding them. Original Article Reference: | |
