We were pleased to see that this formulation includes Epimedium, which is one of the highest quality male sexual enhancement ingredients currently available. Epimedium is said to be a potent aphrodisiac and performance enhancer. However, the somewhat surprising effects of some of this supplement’s other ingredients concerned us. Both Alpinia Fruit and Schizandra are said to be phytoestrogens, which means they mimic the action of estrogen in the body. We are concerned that the use of estrogenic ingredients may only serve to have a “feminizing” effect on men.

Unfortunately, today’s modern world already inundates people with “environmental estrogens” in the form of growth hormones in livestock, synthetic plastics, and pesticides. These estrogens may tamper with hormonal balance in both men and women, and have actually been reported to cause fish to change genders. Environmental estrogens may also be damaging to fertility, and have even been linked to breast cancer. For this reason, we have difficulty understanding why these two ingredients would be included in a supplement intended to boost virility, particularly since they do not appear to have proven sexual enhancement benefits.

We were also concerned on the fact that this product does not appear to be accompanied by a true money-back guarantee. Instead, the seller of this product offers a refund only in the case of an unopened product. We do not understand this logic, since a consumer usually needs to open a product in order to determine whether it works. We feel that the refusal to accept opened products for a refund essentially “traps” the consumer into keeping the product, whether it is effective or not. We believe that given the leap of trust that the consumer is generally required to make when purchasing a product, the seller should at least meet them halfway through a money-back guarantee.
