Libido TRX for Natural Male Enhancement
November 10, 2009
Libido TRX Review Summary
------------------------------------------------------

Libido TRX is a male sexual enhancement product that claims to “turn almost any average man into a virtual super stud overnight.” The product features a hormonal extract from the Wapiti Elk, the animal which supposedly “possesses the strongest sex drive in nature, which allows him to give a full repeat ‘world-class’ performance again and again in as little as three minutes.” The product’s manufacturer claims that in studies, men who tried this product were “transformed into exploding human volcanoes, filled to the brim with intense, over-flowing sexual energy that continued gushing hour after hour and all night long!”

We must question the benefit of a sexual enhancement product that seems to promote sex in “as little as three minutes.” Truly, we doubt that many female consumers would consider this desirable. We also are concerned about the use of a wild animal extract for human consumption. Particularly since this particular species is known to be vulnerable to certain infectious diseases, we would hesitate to embrace this approach. We will evaluate this product for its ability to safely enhance sex for both men and their female partners.

Ingredients at a Glance
------------------------------------------------------

This formulation claims Wapiti Elk Extract as its main ingredient, and also acknowledges the use of “other nutrients.” However, at the time of review, we were not able to find a listing of these other ingredients.

Ingredients in Focus
------------------------------------------------------

We are quite concerned by this product’s highly-touted main ingredient, Wapiti Elk Extract. While this animal may demonstrate virility in its natural mating cycle, this may not naturally translate to human sexuality. In addition, the Wapiti Elk is unfortunately known to be vulnerable to some potentially serious diseases. The Wapiti Elk may suffer from a condition known as Chronic Wasting Disease, in which the affected animals “begin to show weight loss, increased watering needs, disorientation and listlessness, and at an advanced stage the disease leads to death.” This condition is said to be “similar to but not the same as Mad Cow Disease.” Wapiti Elk may also succumb to a parasite called brainworm, which apparently “has been known to affect the spinal cord and brain tissue of elk, leading to death.” These factors cause us to have some serious reservations regarding the wisdom of human consumption of Elk extract.

Lifestyle
------------------------------------------------------

We also question the desirability of brief, repeated acts of sex. It is commonly known that for women, it often takes time to become sufficiently aroused. While repeated, short-lived sexual sessions may be preferable in terms of male multiple orgasm, this may be ill-timed for female pleasure. While perhaps this might make sense in the world of wild Elks, where the male may seek to impregnate as many females as possible, it does not seem particularly favorable in human relations.

Positives
------------------------------------------------------

• Is said to increase testosterone
• At time of review, website included only 1 testimonial

Negatives
------------------------------------------------------

• Short, repeated sex acts may not sufficiently stimulate women
• Mating habits of Elks may not be appropriate for humans
• Wapiti Elk is said to suffer from a condition similar to Mad Cow disease

Final Thoughts
------------------------------------------------------

Although the Elk may be a formidable sexual lothario in its natural setting, this might not necessarily be applicable to human beings. In addition, the insidious and potentially dangerous prevalence of infectious diseases in Elks is a cause for concern.

Currently, there are some superior herbal supplements that stimulate the body’s production of human testosterone through ingredients like Yohimbe and Damiana. We have also heard excellent data regarding the herbal sexual ingredients Tribulus Terrestris and Epimedium.
