Libido Formula #45 is purported to be a male sexuality enhancing product by its manufacturer. It utilizes a spray deliver system that is sprayed under the tongue in a “sublingual delivery system”. This herb is almost exclusively used in homeopathic medicines, because it is believed to be able to help with impotence. Nonetheless, we believe more research needs to be done on this ingredient to see if it is safe, because it is commonly known to be a poison. We did try to get further information regarding this ingredient from the manufacturer but they did not respond to our inquiries.

Homeopathic Medicine is an alternative system of medicine invented 200 years ago by Samuel Hahnemann, who was a German Physician and Chemist. The key to Homeopathic Medicine is that it is believed to provoke the body’s inborn natural defense system to fight disease by utilizing intense dilutions of minerals, herbs and remedies.

Libido formula #45 uses a sublingual spray delivery system. We do not believe that this method has been research proven to be a viable delivery system for introducing herbs into the body. Most herbal formulas use a time proven capsule, liquid, tea or tincture delivery method. We believe further research needs to be conducted on this method to see if it is effective for herbally based formulas.

We were glad to see that this formula used a combination approach in order to attempt to boost men’s libidos. However, we have seen much better results in formulas that use herbs which have been proven to enhance male sexuality, such as Epimedium.

Libido formula #45’s website was lacking in relevant information about this product. They did disclose the formulary, which we were happy to see, but it did not disclose any additional information. It was only due to our extensive research that we realized that this formula is based on Homeopathic Medicine. We firmly believe that consumer’s should easily be able to access this type of information, so they can make the best possible decision to help them deal with male sexual dysfunction.

In general, male sexual dysfunction can be a life altering event for men, creating a feeling of hopelessness. However, we believe that holistically based supplements can be of help to some men who are dealing with reduced libido, lowered stamina, erectile problems and overall sexual performance issues.

As mentioned earlier, we were glad to see that this product uses a combination approach in trying to aid male sexual dysfunction.
