| Herbagra Review Summary ------------------------------------------------------ Herbagra is a sexual enhancement supplement that claims to be “a safe and effective aphrodisiac, rejuvenator and anxiolytic herbal formulation.” The product seems to primarily include Ayurvedic herbs and is designed to “improve Vigor, vitality, muscle tone, and sexual desire.” The product claims to be effective for “both male and female sexual dysfunctions.” We are compelled to question how a single supplement could address both male and female sexual problems. The reproductive and endocrine systems of men and women are intricate and distinctly different, and we are not sure how one product could address both equally well. In addition, it seems that several of the ingredients in this formulation are not primarily intended to correct sexual dysfunction, and some may have questionable effects. We will evaluate this product for its ability to enhance performance, vigor and stamina for both men and women. Ingredients at a Glance ------------------------------------------------------ This formulation may contain some of the following ingredients: Witheria Somnifera, Asparagus Racemosus, Mucuna Pruriens, Argyria Nervosa, Tribulus Terrestris, Nardostachys Jatamansi, Pueraria Tuberosa, Sida Cordifolia and Anacyclus Pyrethrum. Ingredients in Focus ------------------------------------------------------ One of the primary ingredients in this supplement, Witheria Somnifera, apparently gets its name from the Latin somnifera, which is said to mean "sleep-bearing” According to one expert, this name apparently “indicates it was considered to be a sedative.” We cannot help but wonder how this would improve sexual vigor. It also appears that this ingredient is largely used for overall health, and there does not seem to be strong evidence of its effectiveness in sexual enhancement. Mucuna Pruriens, also called Velvet Bean, is a common plant source of the dopamine intermediary Levodopa. While Mucuna Pruriens is said to have aphrodisiac properties, its Levodopa content may also bring adverse effects. Among these may be hair loss, confusion, and cardiac arrhythmias. We cannot help but notice that these three undesirable effects are all characteristics of geriatric men. We were pleased to discover this product’s inclusion of the potent ingredient Tribulus Terrestris, which is said to be a natural testosterone enhancer. However, we felt that this product could have greatly benefitted from next-generation ingredients such as Epimedium, Yohimbe, and Damiana. Sexual Health ------------------------------------------------------ As previously stated, it is difficult for us to discern how this product can improve sexual function for both men and women. We would have preferred to see some sort of description of this product’s exact mechanism within the body. In addition, we did not encounter any evidence that this product comes with a money-back guarantee. It is our belief that because not all sexual enhancement products work equally for all customers, some sort of consumer protection should be in place. Positives ------------------------------------------------------ • Includes Tribulus Terrestris • Claims to work for both men and women • Is said to improve “vigor and vitality” Negatives ------------------------------------------------------ • Mucuna Pruriens may lead to hair loss • Witheria Somnifera is considered to have sedative properties • Mucuna Pruriens is said to be linked to cardiac arrhythmias • Product description does not explain how product works for both sexes Final Thoughts ------------------------------------------------------ We believe that for men and women looking to enhance the passion, arousal, and overall satisfaction of their sexual experience, there are more targeted supplements available. We feel that some of these Ayurvedic ingredients do not seem to be especially designed for sexual enhancement. We feel that among herbal ingredients, some of the best of the current crop are Epimedium, Yohimbe, and Damiana. These ingredients work together to heighten arousal, enhance libido, and promote vigor and endurance for a more satisfying sexual experience. Original Article Reference: | |
